Every ten years, the United States counts its entire population. The census is crucial to the protection of our community, resources, services, and civil rights.
During the 2010 Census, you will have an opportunity to help empower and strengthen our community by providing basic information about your household on the census questionnaire. Filling out the form only takes about 10 minutes. All the information that you provide will be kept completely confidential.
Do you want your voice heard? Your participation in this year’s count will help ensure that it is and that the needs of our community are met.

We are so proud to announce that North Central High School was one of 52 high schools from across South Carolina to be recognized by the State Department of Education for its efforts on the SAT college entrance exams. North Central High was recognized for both excellent performance and rapid improvement, earning a Magna cum Laude award. Our school is extremely honored to receive this new award given by the State Department of Education.
The Shield Staff is selling special order CDs of photographs from special events here at NCHS. If you would like to purchase one, you can pick up an order form in the front office or outside room 813. The cost is $3.00 for each CD ordered.
